Forecasting is one of astrology’s most challenging - and most rewarding – skills. Through the unfolding cycles of the planets, we learn how the past shapes the present and how each moment carries the potential to shape the future.

If the birth chart reveals who we are, forecasting traces who we are becoming - showing how time itself participates in the unfolding story of our lives.

 

Good forecasting goes beyond prediction. It empowers, supports and opens possibility. It reveals not only when things happen, but why – offering meaning, purpose and timing within the broader pattern of a life.

 

Across nine sessions, this course introduces the key techniques of astrological forecasting – transits, solar returns, secondary progressions, solar arc directions, and annual profections. You’ll learn to apply these methods with depth and sensitivity, working with your own chart and a range of practice charts.

 

Each session blends clear teaching with guided interpretation and reflection. You’ll explore how to integrate forecasting techniques into your chart work with nuance and confidence, developing both technical fluency and interpretative insight.

 

We begin with the philosophy and ethics of looking ahead – how to approach the future with integrity and compassion. The first half of the course focuses on transits, the foundation of all forecasting, before moving into the other techniques and finally weaving them together into an integrated, living practice.

 

Ideal for those who have completed our Foundation Course (or equivalent study elsewhere) and want to take their astrology skills to the next level.
